The Tech Partnership is inviting employers, professional bodies, and training providers to contribute to the review of new skills standards for Information Management. At this stage, they are reviewing the scope and in particular the skills topics that should be included in the new standards.

New Trailblazer Apprenticeship standard for Business Analyst – your chance to comment
As part of Government’s Trailblazers initiative to make the whole apprenticeship system more rigorous and more responsive to employers’ needs, the Tech Partnership is inviting employers, training providers and others to input on the draft Trailblazer Apprenticeship standard for Business Analyst.

DynamoNet: Game On
The first of our autumn networking events will take place at the Centre for Life Game On 2.0 exhibition.
From Sonic to Samus, Mario to Minecraft, Game On 2.0 is the world’s biggest collection of playable computer games from the past 60 years.
At this event we will hear from Stéphane Catherine, EMEA CRC Director at the Ubisoft Consumer Relationship Centre (CRC) in Newcastle plus Giselle Stewart, UK Director of Corporate Affairs who will talk about the North East’s place in the international gaming industry, and the challenges Ubisoft are facing to stay ahead of the ‘game’.
This event includes a drink, nibbles and access to the Game On 2.0 exhibition.

Taking place at the Civic Centre Newcastle on Thursday 22nd October, nominations for Dynamites 15 sponsored by BT will launch soon (in mid August). In its first year in 2014, we received more than 85 nominations and 350 guests attended the glittering awards ceremony.
