Address: Ramside Hall, Durham
Please see below for details on how to book onto a half-day event at Ramside Hall on Thursday 25th January, find out more about how to apply for one of the new (ETF funded) digital OTLA (Outstanding Teaching, Learning and Assessment) projects, which will run until December 2018.
You are invited to take part in a digital OTLA development day on the 25th January, 2018 at Ramside Hall, Durham (12:30 for lunch, until 16:30). The day will support you to apply for one of the new (ETF funded) digital OTLA projects, which will run until December 2018. This will be a chance to discuss challenges which you think could be solved through digital interventions and identify partnerships to do this. By coming to this event, you are not committing to taking part in an OTLA project but we would urge you to send someone along if you think you would like to take part, as this will be the starting point for the projects. If you know of other organisations you think would like to take part in such projects (based in the North East or Cumbria) they are welcome to register to come along too.
Register to attend on the day. If you are unable to complete this google form, please email us to let us know you would like to come (and tell us if you have any access or dietary requirements).
In preparation for the event we would like you to identify one or more challenges you currently have that are related to teaching, learning and assessment. We don’t expect you to identify the solution yet (we’ll help you to do that after the development day) but you should try to identify challenges where you think one possible solution might be to use digital approaches. Remember that the model of practitioner-led research that we support through OTLA is one where we identify and trial possible solutions to TLA issues in collaboration with others, so challenges that other organisations may also be facing would be of particular interest.
As always, if you have any questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
