The North East LEP are seeking expressions of interest from specialist providers interested in delivering Skills Bootcamps.
Skills bootcamps are part of the National Skills Fund, a £2.5 billion initiative to help adults train and gain skills quickly to improve their job prospects. The North East Local Enterprise Partnership has secured £7.4 million for delivery of Skills Bootcamps between 1 April 2023 and 31 March 2024. Skills Bootcamps are built around the needs of local employers’ and their supply chains:
Developed for those looking to gain work, additional responsibilities, or access new opportunities
Available to: Adults aged 19 and over looking to update or build their skills
Duration: From 60 hours and up to 16 weeks
Course type: Flexible training either regulated (qualification based) or non-regulated (based on alignment with industry standards)

Green Protection of Natural Resources
Pathways to Accelerated Apprenticeships
Electronics and Electrotechnical Engineering
Business and People Management
Education Learning and Training
